I'm a PhD student at the Lewis Lab. I graduated in 2007 from DYP University, India with a Masters in Biotechnology. I'm working on discovering the genetic mechanisms involved in 'Persister cell' formation in Escherichia coli which confers them with a special ability to tolerate high levels of multiple antimicrobials.
