Greeting Cards Designed by Heather
	HOLIDAY CARDS    I began designing Christmas cards in 1992. That year, and for the next year or two I handmade all of the Christmas Cards that we sent out. In 1994, I began to design cards that are printed in black ink on bright white or natural white card stock. The majority of the cards are 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" in size, but some are over- or undersized. I enjoy experimenting with the vividness of black on white, and explore a variety of themes. I especially enjoy music, and often draw inspiration from Christmas carols. The card that gets the most comment is the "Peace" card (designed and printed just after September 11th), which features the word for 'peace' in over 35 languages from around the world. GENERAL OCCASION CARDS    In the past couple of years, I have begun to work on designing all-occasion cards. I'm especially interested in abstracting the complex designs that can be found in nature.
