Tutoring

There are several resources on campus where a student may receive tutoring assistance. The following are some of the tutorial services available.

Eta Kappa Nu, 413 Dana, x5707:
Eta Kappa Nu, the National Electrical Engineering Honor Society provides FREE tutoring to all electrical engineering students. A schedule is posted outside the office door in Dana . Prof. David Brady is the faculty advisor.

The Academic Assistance Center, 151 Cahners Hall, X4300:
Any student may take advantage of individual tutoring, study
groups and workshops in Chemistry, Physics, and introductory Mathematics, as well as social/science humanities courses such as Economics and Psychology.

NUPRIME, 147 Snell, x5904:
Northeastern University Progress in Minority Engineering offers
FREE tutoring services to all students in the College of Engineering. Tutoring is available for any class offered by the College of Engineering. To sign up for tutoring, please see Bala Maheswaran in 204D Churchill. Nuprime also offers a special workshop for the freshman Physics courses. This workshop is of great value to engineering students.

The Writing Center, 100 Cahners, x3086:
The Northeastern University Writing Center is located in 102
Cahners. The Writing Center will offer assistance to any
Northeastern University student who is currently writing a paper for any class (not just English courses!). Please call X3086 or stop by the Writing Center to make an appointment to review your paper. Students should bring a rough draft of the paper to your appointment.
