Biography
Nian X. Sun (Ph.D. Stanford University) is assistant professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Northeastern University. Prior to joining Northeastern University, he was a Scientist at IBM and Hitachi Global Storage Technologies between 2001~2004. Dr. Sun was the recipient of the NSF CAREER Award in 2008, the ONR Young Investigator Award in 2007, and the 1st Prize IDEMA Fellowship in 2000. His research interests include novel magnetic, ferroelectric and magnetoelectric materials and devices; materials and device properties at RF/microwave frequency range; energy harvestin materials and devices; micro/nanotechnologies, etc.
