Biography
Dr. Farhat's area of specialty is in Integrated Circuits and Solid State devices. He obtained his B.S. from the Technion (Israel) then his Master's followed by the PhD degree in 1977 from the University of Pennsylnania all in electrical & computer engineering. After a short period spent in postdoctoral research and industry, he embarked on his academic career starting at the University of Massachusetts, where he taught for a brief period . He joined Northeastern University afterwards, where since 1990 he has been the lab Director in the ECE department while continueing to teach courses in his area of semiconductor devices & integrated circuit design, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels .
