School Psychology ProgramsNews & Updates APA in Toronto Professors Li, Mason & Kruger Testify at the Massachusetts' State House Hearing in Support of a Bill to Change the MCAS Commencement Pictures: May 1, 2009 NASP in Boston We were fortunate to have the annual National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) convention right here in Boston from February 24-28. NASP was attended by more than 4,800 colleagues from across the country. Northeastern University School Psychology students, former students, and faculty presented and attended paper presentations, workshops, and poster sessions. The NU School Psychology community enjoyed a social on campus that was organized by the NU Student Associates of School Psychology (SASP). Briesch will be joining our faculty in fall 2009. Dr. Briesch earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology at the University of Connecticut in 2009 having completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Heartland Regional School District, in Iowa. Documentary The first convention screening of Dr. Louis Kruger’s documentary on high stakes testing, “Children Left Behind” took place at the NASP Convention to a packed room, including many NU students, former students, and faculty.
